dude, if you only go 8k in two yrs, get mt drag radials, they hook way way better than the nittos.

if you have to worry about mileage, get the nittos

I'm just looking to get a decent price for some 315's, and Nitto Drags fit the bill. I'm not using these tires for drag racing at all. My car is basically used only weekends. and sees very little mileage.

MT's will prbably hook better. I'm not sure the price difference, but MT's won't handle in the rain as well as the Nitto's do. I guess it depends on exactly what you are looking for.

If you want to be specific, then they "share" the drag radial design, and I never specified what they were used for. I just said that once you heated them up they hook up well, and IMO better than the 555R's. cheesh

I agree, I can't cut better than a 2.0 60-ft on the Nitto RII, but with a BFG-drag I was able to easily cut 1.91.

However for handling, the Nitto RII rocks.

The BFG's and the MT's are a softer compound tire, and will undoubtingly hook better than any of the Nitto's.

Yep, I loved the RII's on the street, awesome cornering grip and very impressive wet weather grip (when it still had tread).
Only drawback with these tires on my car is that the ride is very very harsh and the car loves to wander all over the road if the road is uneven or grooved.
My 555's wander, but not as much as my RII's.

That's good to know too, because I plan on running 555r's in the rear and GSD3's in the front.
