Default WIDEST tire for stock 16in Z28 rim

I have a 1998 Z28 with stock 16in chrome 5-stars. I want to know what the WIDEST size tire I could fit on the rim/in the wheel well. By widest, I don't mean width of the wheel (as in 8.5in wide or 11in wide), I mean 285/315/335, etc. Post up any pics you all have of your car with obese tires and stock size rims.

i bought a pair of 15x8 Telstars that had 275/50/15 but they look to wide for the wheel I think. Hangs out too far past the edge of the rim but the are DR's. Not gonna be on there long anyway!!!

No need discussing this any further, especially since there is another thread on the same page about the same topic. 255/50/16 is IT!
