Ok.. prices for anodizing was absolutely... well far to high on what a sane man would pay. They charge per cubic inch of surface area. I am prolly going to get them powdercoated in a month or two in either red or black. I'm leaning on red myself just to be different... if I don't like it, I can easily revert back to black.

you can get powdercoat in translucent colors so you wouldn't neccessarily have to anodize them. Thats what I would recommend... eastwood.com has alot of powdercoat colors and samples that you can browse through to get an idea of what you would want to have done
