Anyone put 295/35/18 BFG drag radials or other tire on a 18x9.5 wheel?

Can't take the lack of traction on the street anymore, want to change up the tires.
I was wondering how this width of tire performs/looks on a 9.5 wide wheel. I like my wheels, and don't plan on changing them, but I don't think there is an available 275/35/18 drag radial on the market.
SO, I am hoping the 295 will work fine, I would asume it would, its only a 10mm bulge per side, which is hardly noticable.

checked the tire sizes...
I guess BFG actually makes a directional Drag radial in a 275/35/18 size. Nitto makes a 285/35/18 also.
So I guess a have choices since last time I checked the sizes out.
BUT, I still would like to know who has tried the aforementioned combo.

Ok, have any input other than that about these tires? I have 10.5" out back and would like to know if anyone has thrashed them on the track and if they would hold any type of power on the street.
