Default Any way to trick ABS to get away with more tire stagger front to rear????

Well, I searched and didn't happen to spot it.

Saw info about removing the ABS.

Spotted reference to about a 1/2" tire diameter difference front to rear being about all one can get away with on the F-bodies.

Didn't see anything about tricking the ABS to allow one to keep it, but still get away with more tire diameter diffference than 1/2".

Any ability to trick the ABS and get away with more tire diameter difference front to rear????

The problem manifests during a panic stop . . . not a good way to fine out if ABS is confused or not, not necessarily by a trouble light.

Hmmm, in what way have others experienced an issue there (panic stop)????

Maybe I should consider simply dissabling the ABS, or removal.

i have to agree with the get rid of the ABS all together. my SS is a 3 channel car (ABS but no traction control) when i bought my 9" rear end, it loses ABS because of the 9" and 3 channel cars. i went to the parking lot at my school once when it was raining out and went around diong panic stops in the rain just to try and get my car to lock up and slide and whatnot. i couldn't even get it to lock up and that was with 35 mph panic stops in the pouring rain. i'm running BFG kDW2 tires and they are a great summer dry/wet tire. after i did the "tests" i felt pretty damn comfortable.

also. i have 17x9.5 with 255/40r17 tires/wheels up front, and 295/35r18 tires/wheels in the rear, they are "staggered" and in my opinion, i don't like how these f-bodys look with staggered wheels, i don't know why you would want any more stagger then what my car has. but to each their own, i'm just saying i've "been there" and i want to go back now lol as i don't like it...

wow sorry for the short novel of a reply, hope that helps ya out some!

Cool, thanks for the info.

I'm not thinking about staggered wheel diameter, but more tire diameter. Tall out back and not so tall up front.

My car currently has C5 wheels with roughly the same tire diameter. Looks wrong with the smaller wheel up front. This is how I bought it, and I need to correct the issue.
