I recently painted a set of three piece wheel centers for a friend. I took the centers out and put them back together also. The hard part is getting all the bolts lose without damaging them, they used red permenant lock tite on all the bolts. The centers are also pressed into the outer barrels, there is a ridge machined into the back side of the center that fits into the lip/flange of the two barrels. I had to use a dead blow and a 2/4 to un seat the center and used some long bolts to re seat it back into the barrels. It is very time consuming and I said I wouldnt do another set for anyone but its not a major ordeal. Also, the two outer halfs are sealed together and will not come appart.

Are those I Forged?


Did you have to use any "special" tools?

I have a wheel shop that is very well known here in Baltimore. They said they've done two sets of IForged wheels. I think I am going to buy these wheels and just have them done in black.......
