Those might be 36 offsets, tough to tell from the one pic forsure. They look to be stickin out a touch hence my wondering/leaning that way.
Just scrolled down again, damn those look nice. Car looks good!
I love the deep lug look too, alot.
Anybody else think those rears on purduerangers rig look like 36 or so offsets????

I love this pic, reminds me of Trans Am series cars with the wheel/tire look...... Newer and definetely older. These are apparently 36mm offset. Not sure on tire sizeing, but look wide to me.

[QUOTE=Hawk108]traction has alot more to do with the tire compound than the width of the tire.
But 11" rears look MEAN [/QUO
butt 11" tires would solver alot of my traction problems right? i always though the wider the tire the more traction

If the car is a Daily Driver and you are willing to give up a little bit of your tire life then you would be alot better off as far as traction problems go if you just went with a nitto DR 275 than if you went with a normal street radial in a 315.(sorry for the run-on)

To my knowledge (and a quick check of the stickies at the top of this section agrees), the 36mm offsets will not fit a Camaro. The Firebird wheel wells are a little wider, so they can get away with it.
These cars were not designed to fit a wheel/tire combo that wide. If you want them to fit, you'll have to make some modifications (BFH/rill fenders/center rearend).

I'm also up in the air on whether to run 50mm or 36 offsets. Tough choice, one minute I'm thinking those 36's and the fact that you don't need spacers or BFH mods is the way to go. Then I keep flipping flopping back to thinking no no lets tuck em as much as possible and go with 50's. Oh well, I've got to make a choice in the next few days. My car is black and I also keep flipping back and forth between running chrome ZR1's (as my car had em stock), or to run the gunmetal gray ones. Decisions decisions, my tires are shot so I've personally got to make a choice asap.
The 36's fit, they just stick out another 3/8". Isn't that the only issue with running 36mm offsets????
And who makes the deep lug, I can't decide on that option either, damnit .

From the sticky at the top of this forum:
17"x11" Wheels
ZR-1 Style for Camaro +50 mm (Known as Grand Sport offset)
ZR-1 Style fo Firebird +36 or +50 mm The wheel well on the "bird" is a little wider.
American Racing TT-2's +45 mm
With 17"x11"s there is always a possibility of needing the BFH and/or fender rolling mods with 315s. If lowered, an Adjustable Panhard Bar becomes a virtual necessity. Some have used the +38 offsets with an 11" wheel but it does stick outside the fender and is definitly not recommended on lowered vehicles. +50 and +56 are the two most common. +50 is the better fit (for the ZR-1 replica).
For road race only applications a 17"x11" at all four corners can be made to fit.
Not sure if anyone makes the deep lug any more. You might be able to find some on ebay.
