I just put Yokohama AVS ES100's on my SS and they are quite a bit wider than the stock Goodyear F1's, they buldge out a lot more but look really good. $500 shipped from discounttiredirect.com

JGKadell....How did you run a 12.2 @ 109 with a 1.6 60'??? Just wondering because that seems kinda odd...or atleast to me it does...I'm not calling BS, but I just have never seen that before

why you calling bs on that? that seems right if you get great traction of the line.

Good luck with those tires, I had the 245/50/16's on my car and they sucked. They had pretty decent hot weather traction, but they wore out with about 15k miles. If they sat for about a weeks time they would also get flat spots.

BFG or Goodyear both run pretty wide. My 275/40/17 BFG KD's are pretty wide on my fronts.

i had them after the original tires wore out in the rear and loved them for that size until i added headers and tune. they gave me nice traction in the rain. i still use them for the fronts to this day. they also gave me a .3 better on a 1/4 than the stock bfg all season z rated that came with the car too.

Yeah, I guess they are pretty good if you aren't worried about how quickly they wear. I would probably rather just get the nitto 555r's next time. The ES 100's were awesome in the rain though.
