Default Torn between two tires

I need some opinions. Which ever tire i get will be mounted on 17x11 ZR1's with a 50mm offset.

I can't decide between...
1. Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD-3 in a 315/35-17
2. Michelin Pilot Sport in a 335/35-17

Thanks in advance.

I say go with the GSD-3's, the tread design is pretty cool and they get great traction in rain or shine.

I agree, I've read alot about both tires. Both are very good but I would go with the GS-D3's. Love the tread pattern and excellent traction.

Ive never used the PS2's, but the D3's are the best wet traction tires I have ever used and perform well in dry. If your looking for a good all around daily drver tire the D3 will not disappoint.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Ive read that the GSD3's run wide. Are they pretty close to the size of the Pilot Sport 335's?

Thanks.

They might be bigger lol, I believe they run like 13.2" wide......Which is a REALLY wide tire lol. BFH is definitely needed lol, and most likely you will have to roll the fenders.

Holy ****, i read the GSD3's were 12.6".

I think i'll be fine with the fenders. I have a 50mm offset so it doesn't stick out at all.

Yeah...that's the reason I went with the KD instead of the GS D3, my front tires were down to the cords and I needed a new tire NOW. Since the GS D3 were on back order, it made the choice easy to the the KD out, lower price helped too. And I don't like mismatching tires front to back...looks tacky.

No the GSD-3's are over 13"......They are THE widest running 315 out there.

They are wrong for sure. They list my tire as having a section width of 12.6" and I measured just over 13 yesterday before putting them on the car today.

Section width is measured at the widest point of the sidewalls under load. It's not tread width.
