Help!
I need some help guys. My buddy says that the 275 40 M/T street radial will fit my 17x11 inch rim which right now has a 315 35 R17 sumitomo tire on it. I believe him cause he mostly knows what he's talking about but I was wondering if anybody has any experience with this. He says the M/T's run bigger than most tires so they will fit. I just don't wanna buy them and then have to look at them sitting in my garage cause they won't fit. haha. Thanks

just buy the 315 M/T, the smallest ive put on a 17x11 is a 285/40/17 and this was for a gran sport which came with that size rear from the factory, theyre gonna look funny on there and your not gonna get the look you paid for when you put the wheels, the whole point of a 17x11 is to fit bigger meat which in this case your not going to do. in M/T 315 theyre an inch wider than a traditional 315
