The approved rim width from the Goodyear website is 9.5-11.0, so you should be just fine.
Also, I just happen to have a lead on a "lightly used" pair of these that you might be able to get a deal on. I tried them on with my new wheels at Fikse and drove about 1/4 mile to find that I had some rubbing, so I'm going with 275 instead. Fikse might be willing to make you a deal to try to recover their cost.

Check with Xsta Z28. He will know for sure. I think a 285 is a little narrow for an 11 inch rim though. GS-D3's have a very stiff sidewall so if that is the tire you're looking at then I would hold off or go with a different style goodyear.
