Found these in the trash...
Hey guys I found these wheels in the trash a while back, the front two are 215's and the back two look to be 8 inches. Both the front and the rear are 15 inch rims, does anyone know what rims they are? I appreciate any help identifying them!!

Those look to be torque thrust's, nice score!
Who the hell would throw those out? they even have old redline tires on them...
And I thought I got lucky when I found a complete set of 15X7 Pontiac Ralley II's with perfect trim rings and caps for my GTO sitting on somebodies curb waiting for the dumptruck

Hey sweet thanks guys! Does anyone here know how to polish magnesium? Is there any way of telling for sure that they are american racing rims, someone on Z28.com thought they might also be halibrands. I appreciate the help!

You can do a little test to see if they are mag, Take a file and shave some metal off into a dish "CAREFULLY" set a match to ithe shavings if its mag it will light off like the 4th of July. If they are real Mag American Torque Thursh's or Halibrands you got a very cool find!!!

Magnesium usually pits pretty bad and is more porous than aluminum. I am guessing those are aluminum. Is there anything cast into the back of the spokes? As for cleaning them. Yo may be better of to leave them alone and sell as is. You run the risk of damaging them or having to spend some $$$$ to get them right.

Hey guys I think I finally identified them!! Im 99 percent sure they are "Appliance" Torq-Thrusts. I've read that they are nearly identical to the American Racing rims, and are actually aluminum, not magnesium. Does anyone have any tips for selling them on ebay? Should I buy a set of A.R. center caps to include in the sale? And how could I go about polishing these bad-boys?
