Default M/T street radial users inside please

I ran Nittos last year with decent success but decided to switch to the Mickey Thompson's this year. I read a few threads that indicated Nittos should be run on the street @ 25 psi so they wear evenly. I ran 20 psi @ the track and 25 psi on the street and they wore wicked uneven. My centers are balding while the outsides have 50% tread left. So I'm reluctant to try 25 psi on the street with the M/T's.

Anyone run the MT's with success on even or close to even tread wear? If so what was the PSI you ran on the street?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Anyone have

I had the same experience with the Nitto wear pattern. I only use my MT's to drive to the track and back, and maybe around town for a day or two afterward if the weather is nice (like today).

So I don't know about they would wear, but I think at less than 25 lbs. they'd be way too mushy on the street to be safe. IIRC, the MT website insists that they be brought up to that pressure when going back to the street from the track.

I hate driving my MT's on the street. I actually ran them at 34psi for the best handling on the street. Any softer and they wallow and sway bigtime on my car(255/50/16's). I run them at 20psi at the track and they hook awesome. They're worn straight across the tire since I'm down to the treadwear bar already on both tires all the way around.

Thanks for the replies guys. I think I'll try 35 psi on the street and 20 at the track and see how they wear.

Thanks again.
