Default American Racing Rebel Help.....

Ok so Im getting ready to order a set of these rims...the American Racing Rebels and Im not sure which would be the better set to go with.

Im thinking about either going with:

17x9s - FRONT
18x10s - REAR

OR

18X9S - FRONT
18x10s - REAR

Which would be a better setup on a LOWERED car....I will be using either Eibach prokit springs or DMS springs....

Here are the wheel specs:

SIZE..........OFFSETBACK......SIDEBOLT............ CIRCLE NOTE
--------------------------------------------------------
18x9 ............. +25 .............. 6 ..................... 5-4 1/2
18x9 ............. +12 .............. 5 1/2 ................ 5-4 1/2
18x9 ............. +25 .............. 6 ..................... 5-4 3/4
18x10 ............ +30 ............. 6 3/4 ................ 5-4 1/2
18x10 ............ +41 ............. 7 1/8 ................ 5-4 3/4
17x9 ............. +24 .............. 6 ..................... 5-4 1/2
17x9 ............. +24 .............. 6 ..................... 5-4 3/4

Sorry I dont know much about wheels....I know either of these setup will work, I just dont know if they will on a lowered car. I just want the setup Where I will have no issues with rubbing or sticking out to far.

THANKS!!!!!!!

the staggered 17" front and 18" back don't look right on our cars, IMO. We don't have different sized wheel well openings like the Vette has which causes it to look kinda dumb. Plus, if you don't match the overall tire diameter your ABS won't be happy. If you do match the overall tire diameter your sidewalls are going to be different heights which also looks goofy.

from the sticky:

Bolt Pattern

5 x 4.75" or 5 x 120.65 mm

The numbers in the columns are as follows:

WIDTH ..... OFFSET ......... WIDTH OF TIRE

Front and Rear

7.0" ..... +35 to +40 mm .... 215, 225, 235
7.5" ..... +35 to +45 mm .... 215, 225, 235
8.0" ..... +38 to +55 mm .... 225, 235, 245
8.5" ..... +38 to +45 mm .... 235, 245, 255
9.0" ..... +38 to +56 mm .... 255, 265, 275
9.5" ..... +38 to +56 mm .... 255, 265, 275, 285
10.0" ... +38 to +48 mm .... 265, 275, 285

REAR Only

10.0" ... +38 to +54 mm .... 275, 285, 295
10.5" ... +38 to +50 mm .... 285, 295, 305, 315
11.0" ... +45 to +56 mm .... 305, 315, 335

NOTE: 315 series tires DO NOT fit 9" or 9.5" wheels. It will not be discussed.
looks like the 17/18*9 fronts with a +24/25mm o/s in the 5 x 4 3/4" pattern will stick out a bit too far and may rub on your plastic inner fender well when you fully **** you steering one way or another. The 18*10 +41mm in the rear will work and will be pretty close to being flush with your fender.
