Default will we hook better with mt street radials vs the et streets?

right now we are running this tire on the 5.3l turbo fairmont we are working on. we have 26X10.50-16LT

we need a taller tire and have a little room for a wider tire. we could go with the same tire but in the 28x11.5-16 size or...

in a similer size to above like the 275/60/15 but we will need to find a set of rims that fit the car.

will the "et street radial" on a 15" rim hook any or much better than the "et street" of a similur size? it would be easy to just order the bigger "et street" since we wont need diferent rims but the radial will drive better and might hook better?

here is a launch vid from friday. we haven't done any suspension tuning in the rear of the car other than tire presure. we got down to about 13psi. is there likely any gain in going lower? this is high 1.5x 60's and a launch on the brake at ~14psi of boost.

this was our first night at the track and we are prety happy with high 1.5's but are wondering what to do next to get knock a couple of tenths off of that.

No personal experience here with autos, but from what I've heard my friends say and what I've read in the drag racing section the auto's don't notice much of a difference between the ET Streets and the Radials.
My 6spd car has not had good luck with the ET Streets. Best I've 60'd on a ET Street was a 1.79 and I've pulled a 1.81 on a 17" BFG DR and I know there is more in it.

Ive ran both on a 03 cobra pusing 720whp with an m6. The et streets hooked up really good when u gave a good burn out in the box but would still break loose. Ive had better experience with the et street radials coming out of the burnout box and hooking all the way down the track with minimal tire spin out of the hole. With the mt et streets we dropped the pressure to about 9-10lbs and had better results but still spun. You might want to check out the new bfg drag radials too ive heard pretty good things about them.
