Default Stubborn brake dust on aluminum?

Ok my car has been down for about 7 months. I got it back recently and cleaned it the other day. I have the plain stock aluminum SS wheels. Some of the brake dust would not come off no matter what I did. How do I get the old stubborn stains off the wheels?

BTW I ran a search in this thread with multiple variations and came up with nothing

Sometimes it is not going to come off.

Me: personally try some Clay Magic in the tough spots and wax.

On the inside hoop I use a Scotch Brite pad.

i had the same problem w/ my aluminum ss wheels, but eagle 1 makes an all purpose wheel cleaner that rocks. Just take each wheel off and spray it all around the wheels then wash off and mine looked brand new. Definetley 5 dollars well spent.
