I run about 45 psi front and 35-40 psi rear in 285-35-18's. That's about the best I could do and keep tire wear consistant on the street. For ultimate cornering you might want a little more pressure in the front but that will vary depending on the tire and the sidewall stiffness.

Typically you run higher psi in the front to prevent sidewall rollover during hard cornering and less psi in the rear to get better traction. I found that with my Nitto 55's the psi's I listed worked best for performance/tire wear. Each tire model will differ and driving habits matter too.

I was wondering about this too so I called BFG and TireRack (where i bought my wheels)
Heres what i found:
+ BFG recommended 35psi for both my 275/35/18's and 295/35/18
+ TireRack said that it was ok to look on the side of my door for the manufacturers recommended PSI, i havent had a chance to look yet.
I also asked the TireRack guy if rim width changed the recommended PSI and he said no. ( i have 9.5 front 10.5 rear)
Hope this helps.
