Ok, well brought the camera but forgot the batteries!!!

ok, sooo sems the bump stops and the bolts etc were not an issue I guess since I wasnt lowered or my adjustable phr had moved the wheels out of the way or whatever... it just felt like they were riding inside the rims. anyways.

The drivers side had given the car a good massage on that lower front area that everyone high lights. SOO we hammered the **** out of it and covered it with the rubber junk etc. On the passenger side there was a teenie weenie rub mark.. but we still hammered the **** out of it.

I went out and took a hard right then left in the same residential area I noticed the rub the other day. NADA )

Soo it feels fixed.. oh and the area I was referring to as sharp.. it you follow the top of the wheel well at about the 2 o clock position there is a step like pattern of the wheel well.. feels sorta sharp but it in fact not over top any of the tire area \

I dont think I can get a clear shot of it with the tires on, but ill gie it a whirl when im done washing her and post new pics

So stay ith chrome centercap? what about those damn lugs... stay chrome or gt black?

The only thing I dont liek is that locking lug... hee

Good work, it's nice to not have to worry about it huh?

Chrome center caps- do whatever you think looks the best, surely you have an opinion.

Locking lug- keep it.

What do i need to do if i want to lower it on some 17x11 wheels on a camaro? only some eibach prokit springs, so not slamed or anything. Will the tires tuck in the wells without rubbing if i roll the fenders? (and the wheel well hammering an bumpstop shaving)

I think you'll need to do a considerate amount of hammering/shaving, roll the fender lip, and install an adjustable panhard bar in order to run these on a lowered camaro.

Does anyone in this thread with an SS have the Bilstein Ultra Perf Suspension package with 11's? I know this B.U.P.S.P. the car is suppose to be lowered 1" and I am not sure if this is engough to cause any rubbing issues. I am getting ready to hopefully do this mod this weekend and get my 11's on. Does anyone know if the M/T 315 are any more narrow or wider than the BFG's? I'm giessing that the Nitto's are the most narrow of the bunch.

Yes, the 315 Nittos are at least an inch narrower than the 315 BFGs... you can put those on and not worry about any rubbing issues at all. But I'd also like to know about the 315 MT compared to the 315 BFG from someone that's measured the two tire widths side-by-side.

Then why do my Nitto 315's rub? You cant run a 315 and not expect to rub under high duress unless you BFH the crap out of the wheel well. I dont rub going in a straight line its the corners that it shows. And I've got a great suspension so its not that. Its the fact thats its (315) too big. Sam Strano has a great analogy for it. Trying to stuff 15lbs of crap into a 5 lb bag. Or something close to that effect. Best I found was to use an adj phb and bias the postion a little. I was only rubbing on one side.

Thats what it took for my 315/18's to fit. Yet I would still get a slight rub when taking a sharp turn fast. I had the BFG Drag Radials.

the sumitomo's are narrow too, and mine still rubbed.. It required some bfh'ing to ensure they didnt rub under high duress.

they never rubbed in normal straight driving.

I did have to recenter my rear when i put on the new tires/wheels and we havent figured out why that was yet

That's because you're on 18's, I think. I know it shouldn't make a difference, but my 315/35/17 Nittos fit just fine and never rubbed. I required some BFH when switching to the 315/35/17 BFGs, though.

Any difference on a Formula? Would 315's fit better on a Formy then the Camaro? Would 305's rub?
