i have 18 by 9.5 with 275/35/18 and want to go to 295/35/18 will thay fit ok?

Yes it will fit but I would not recommend any larger than that on a 9.5 wheel. I have 285/35/18 Nitto 555 tires on my 18x9.5 wheel and they look and fit great. You can't tell the difference between them and a 295. Heck a 295 won't look much wider than a 275. So if you expect to see alot more rubber then you are going to be disappointed.

I had 295 on my 18x10.5 fit fine!

I would not run a 295 tire on a 9.5" wide rim!

I have a set of 295/30/18's on a set of 10.5" wide rims

I also am running a set of 265/35/18's on a set of 9.5" wide rims.

IMO, I wouldn't go any wider than a 285 on a 9.5" wide rim.

Here are the 295's on a 10.5" wheel, they -are- wider than a 275:

I had 295s on my factory C5 18x9.5s until I could get C5 Z06 wheels. They fit but I would not recommend it. I would go with the 285.
