Just switched to Kumho Mx's to replace my old Pilot Sports and i can't believe how well these hook up compared to my expensive Michelins. Now i just need more power to spin these suckers.

I took a chance and picked up the General Exclaim UHP's in 275/40/17. I was only concerned because of some people saying they are horrible for cornering. It IS true when you first put them on, but I've done 1500 miles on them and they're great. They're not the best out there for cornering (about average, but definetly NOT bad) they're smooth and quiet, pretty damn sticky, have a nice tread and have been good in the rain. I definetly recommend them. They're made in Germany... eh, at least it's not China like the Summitummy's, yokomamas and Mitutoya's ![Icon Lol](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/icon_lol.gif)

Went from Kumho Supra 712's(Terrible)to Yokohama ES100(decent)to my new set of Kumho Ecsta MX's in a 245/40R17 front and 275/40R17 rear. Love them. Almost went with T1R's by Toyo but tried these after we had a sales meeting with Kumho at work. Love them. I have 1800 miles on them and so far so good. Nice cornering tire and not too bad in a at the track. Can't complain, I didn't think I would go back to Kumho after the junk I bought with the 712's but I did and glad I did

You could have grouped nitto and toyo together since theyre made by the same company and use the same compounds. BFG is also made by Mitchelin. Firestone/bridgestone makes fuzion also.
