GS-D3s.
I can't say that they are the best, cause I can only compare them to RS-As. But I can say that they are amazing in the wet. It's nice to be able to handle just as good on wet pavement as on dry.

I've got the kelly evo's, they are decent tires
good grip, wear good, and the tread patterns pretty cool.
I've got over 40k on these and they still have decent tread
left. 275 40 17

Better price tag maybe, but what tire is better both wet and dry? I'd like to try them.
I've always argued with my buddies about tires. A lot of them like to buy the cheapest tire, where its all about saftey and handling for me. I could never understand why people put cheap tires on fbodies and vettes.

For all you guys running DR's such as the Nitto 555, or 555R how many miles are you getting out of them? I'm looking for 20K minimum in this next set of tires, and it never sees rain or snow, what do you recommend? Stock rims, so 245/50/16s

Car had Goodyear RSA's when I bought it, would burn them mercilessly.
Put 245/50-16 Summitomo HTR+ all the way around cause they were cheap. Expected the worst. My car will hardly spin them. I can flat foot it on the street sometimes it slips them, sometimes it dead hooks. Won't smoke 'em unless I powerbrake it to get 'em going, then burn them pretty good. They are squishy feeling at high speeds and cornering, though.

Didn't like the BFG KWDS's that were on the car when I got it.
Have the discontinued Kumho 711's now, they were cheap at $42 a tire or something like that, I've beaten the **** out of them for the past 6k miles and they've held up pretty well.
I want to try the Federal SS595's next time around unless I buy 17's.
