Looks good. I'm usually not a fan of big wheels on fbodies but in this case I would have gotten 18s. Still look plenty good though.

What size / offset are they? Did you have to use spacers?
(Add the normal amount of repeadative wheel / tire noobie questions here)

[Oh, and yes, I did read all the wheel / tire stickies and I' m still confused! So there!]

They look good, especially for 17's... (18 w/ shorter sidewall might look good aswell) I was going to order those for my camaro, but turned out they were on backorder for the color I wanted. So I'm getting the C6 wheels with the machined face look.

They look perfect, I think. I think they still look nice and big even if they are 17's all around. I saw some pics of 18/17 combo, and I was not impressed by the difference.Nice ride!!

+54mm offset. As said before 275/40/17s all the way around. I did not use spacers yet, i proboly will pick up some becuase they were a pretty tight fit.

Default Wheel Spacer Theory 101 (???)

OK, so the inside of the tire (but not the wheel) is almost rubbing the inside wheelwell, so because the rims are not available with less postive offset (i.e. - 40 mm vs 58mm), a spacer must be placed on the wheel studs in-between the the brakes and the Vette wheels - Is that correct or am I off?

[Given that my above statement is correct; if those wheel were available with less positive offset, then no spacer would be required - right?]

Let me know! (I only want to buy MY expensive rims once!)

Thanks!

Again - They look great and I gotta' get me some!
(BTW - how wide are they?)

Gah, i was wishing no one asked that. I was in a hurry to mount them (shop was staying open late for mounting) but i wanna say they were 10.5 inches. As for the whole offset thing, i wouldnt be the person to ask. Id call the place you are buying them from up and talk to them, I got mine from TomZwheels and their support helped out. The back clears fine, front is pretty tight, only have about 1cm of room. If you do go the spacer route you will need longer wheel studs if you are still running stock. It was a close fit for those aswell, i didnt get my new lug nuts for another 3 days after i got them mounted and it was almost to the point where i wasnt comfortable using the stock ones, just didnt seem to screw on far enough.

They look OK
Maybe if they were 18's front and 19's in the back
I like the C6 wheels better. Not so much the C6 Z06

Default TomZwheels / NC???

[QUOTE=skeels]I got mine from TomZwheels and their support helped out. [QUOTE]

Skeels -

I just moved to NC (Kernersville actually); is "TomZwheels" in NC or are they an online shop (I guess probably not if they stayed open to mount your wheels and tires!)?

Na, TomZwheels is an online shop located in Texas i belive. They are a sponsor here and had a sale when i purchased mine, it may have been for only May though. Came with everything needed, centercaps, lugnuts, and stems. Shipping was pretty cheap and they got here in about a week if i remember right. Alot cheaper then buying them from the Chevy dealership, even with them not being on sale. I just got them mounted at a local Firestone since they are the only place that stays open past 5pm and had a buddy that worked there mount them while the manager was bitching about closing up shop, but free mounting and balance for the win.

I think it looks good. At first I did not like the C6 Z06 style wheel but they have grown on me and might one day get some Z06 rims again. Good choice.

As skeels said the fronts were close (but still clear ok) and the rears cleared plenty.....just for looks i would go with some spacers though. They are set in the wheelwell a tad and would be absolutley perfect with some spacers to make them flush with the body of the car. If skeels can find his reciept it might say the offset on them or he can give you a part number to give to tomzwheels and they could tell you.

<--- the guy who got hell for making the shop stay late as ****..lol.
