Also just wondering what sort of tire pressures you guys are running with these tires for daily driving on the street and also for the drag strip. Thanks!

There are actually 2 types of tread for the KDW. The one I have is the "traditional" tread whereas the one you posted is the "newer" design. Mine are definitely KDW tires I'm uploading pictures of the sidewalls as we speak.

Also the KD tires have a different pattern for the right side vs. the left side and the KDW are the same on both sides.

ok.. if you say its printed right on the tire i believe you - don't have to jump the gun. I was just looking at the picture of your tires with the picture on the website.

Sorry man I know it's confusing. There is very little difference between the KD and KDW.

yea your right, without comparing the two side by side i didn't even notice the difference. the KDs only have 1 center strip where the KDWs have 2. The newer style is much different, i wonder how they perform compared to the traditional style that you have. Either way i need a pair

Well I got them mounted at 8am this morning. DAMN these things hook good Finally some traction. The mechanic mounting and balancing the wheels had a hell of a time getting them on the rims. They just wouldn't pop on all the way because of the hard sidewall. It took nearly 90 minutes to mount and balance all 4. The flat rate is $10/tire, but I gave him $50 for all the trouble. I will have to get pictures of them on my car now! Also will get track times posted after going to the track this Wednesday!

The max tire pressure is 44 psi. What do you guys normally run in your street tires? What psi do you guys use for the track? Thanks for the help.

That's what I thought I read somewhere. Thanks. Will lower them down from 44 psi to 34 psi tomorrow.

Running around 28-30psi at the drag strip I managed a 2.200 60' time. That is my best so far. It should be possible to get 2.000 60' times with practice.

I got a 1.96 60' with 245/50/16 KDW on a 6 speed car. I drop my pressure to around 22 at the strip though. They're some pretty awesome tires for all around driving.

I'm going back to the strip this coming week. Hopefully with good waether and the tire pressure between 20-25 I can cut a decent 60' time like you did. So far I've been runnning them at 28psi in the rear and 30 psi in the front for a best 60' time of 2.3.

P.S. I love these tires. They're the best street tire I've ever ridden on and the price I paid ($260/shipped for the tires themselves) was unbelieveable.
