315's what tire to hook?
I have the (i think 11 inch) ZR1's with 315/35/17 Nitto 555's on the back and there not doing the job. I'm looking for the best street legal tire in that size that will hook up the best out of the hole. I'm not sure what tire to use, any sudgestions??? THANKS

Man I asked the same question and everyone on here kept telling me the Mickey Thompsons ET Street Radials are the best so if you have the money and want a good tire. Thats obviously the way to go..... Everyone I've talked to said they are the stickiest ones out there for a street/strip car..... good luck with finding a set of tires.... JAMES

You can try Jegs, Summit, or any of the sponsors on the right -->
Also you may be able to get a pair cheap that were only used for a few passes in the for sale section or on eBay.
I just won an auction on eBay for 4 brand new BF Goodrich G-Force T/A KDW tires for under $300/shipped. These are normally $150+/each +shipping! So look around for some deals.
Mickey Thompson ET Streets will definitely give you the traction you desire. However they won't last long if you drive spirited on the street a lot.
Another suggestion is BF Goodrich drag radials or perhaps look into Mickey Thompson drag radials. They won't last as long as Nittos (maybe 10k tops), but they will give better traction.
Good luck with the search.
