I think the Ms look better.Everyone has their own opinion. I had TT2s on and they looked good, but I like the Ms because the design is larger and looks cleaner IMO.

Im planning on getting the chrome TTMs on my firehawk soon. Dont worry about people saying the look like mustang rims. Its your car...not theirs. I also like the deep dish look in the back. There are way too many Ls1s with TT2s.

TT2s.... I see the 2's as being more of a GM wheel whereas the TTMs sit better on mustangs

Check out Vintage Wheel Works V40 and V45s while youre at it, similar yet slightly different than the common TT2s/Ms

If I would have done TTM I would have gotten the 10.5" all the way around. I don't care for the shallow lip on the 9.5". I'm in the process of getting my TT2's painted / powder coated in a gunmetal color right now, just like the Blackbirds. If you go this route expect to pay an additional $500 if done professionally.

I traded my TTII's in favor for the TTM's. That should say it all.

My vote goes to the TT2s. I love the center caps and the steped lip. TTMs have a smaller center cap wich makes them look too dark, but thats just my opinion.

Wow eldiablo, your car looks sick!

To the original poster, I went with TTM's over the II's because I wanted black rims & since it's a custom order to get II's black, the M's were cheaper. I may get bashed, BUT I don't see that much off a difference between the two...

Thanks! I think the only way I would get TTMs is if I could get them in 17x10 all the way around with the same dish/lip.

Didn't read the thread, and searched for this exact question many times so hopefully if someone finds this in the future via a functional search..

TT2's have a more "arched" spoke.
TTM's have a less arched spoke which is flatter (thicker where it contacts the outer wheel). From the side this is pretty obvious, especially with chrome TTM's.

They both have different center caps. The TT2's is much more busy. It has that bolted on hub style cap. The TTM has a slip fit in style cap, smaller and flat, very clean.

The lip on the TTM is a smooth lip where as the TT2 has a stepped lip.

I like the TTM's better, except for the fact that the spoke is so damn wide where it contacts the wheel. It looks pretty gaudy if you are looking at a chrome set of TTM's directly from the side..

I'll probably end up buying the TTM's though, anthracite.

I bought some TTM's and now I need some tires lol. But I thik the TTM's look smoother and less cluttered from the smooth lip and the flat center cap. I like both, but the TTM's come in different colors, are a little cheaper, and i dont think as many people have them, so i chose those.

BTW, stolenredcamaro has the coolest sig.

Default ttm or tt2

I am looking at each of these wheels and always thought i like the tt2 but now i have seen the ttm's in the anthracite and really like those to. Can you guys post some pics of your cars with either one of these wheels to help me deside. I really like the deep dish look on the ttm's but not really liking the mustang look. Thanks
