Default TTM Vs TT2

Whats the difference, been looking at the pics, both look great but cant really tell. Just seems like the spoke design maybe a tad different. I was thinking about a set of TTM is a dark gray for my red Trans Am. I really the GMMG Black Bird cars, so drawing some inspiration from those.

The TTM has a flat smooth lip while the TT2 has a stepped lip which IMO looks better on that style of wheel.

TT2's hands down. The TTM's are too close to the mustang design.

Just my 2 cents.

The TTII spokes have more of a curve to them, while the TTM spokes are flatter.

Yea, nobody will ever think of the Mustang Bullit Rims when they see Torq Thrust II's.

Torq Thrust M's for the win! The back lip just makes it sexier. Not to mention that the M's weigh less than the II's.

TTM's don't come in gunmetal. Only black centers with chrome lip or fully chrome. So you have to decide if your gonna pay the extra to paint them or powdercoat them.

I personally like the TT2, the TTM just looks like a smashed in TT2.

TTM's do come in gunmetal, but they call it anthracite.

Lol, is anybody seeing a pattern here with the posts and peoples sigs?! Anyway, I'm with the TTII guys, I don't like the TTM's. They are just missing something, but they also do look flat, spokes are too thin toward the middle, and are identical to the factory Mustang wheels pretty much. I also thing the chrome is too much bling for those kid of wheels, I'm defnintely polished wheel bias though.

EDIT: Also, if you're taking your inspiration from the Blackbirds, they were 17x9.5 gunmetal TTII's.

You guys are funny ... he asks what the differences are and half of you tell him which you like best. If he wants gunmetal, the biggest difference is going to be price. TTM's come that way; with TT2's he'd have to add the cost of powdercoating to the purchase price.

I like the TTMs better, because of the flat lip. Makes it look deep-dish with the 315s in the back! I got the gunmetal TTMs for my car.

TTM's look like bullits but i don't care i love mine and they do come in chrome athracite like mine and black. TT2's only come in polished alum. and chrome you would have to have them coated to get the affect you want just my opinion
