Werd. Bigger sidewal = traction. That's why I would go with 17's instead of 18's, along with the fact that tires are a hell of a lot cheaper. It's a win-win for anyone looking to look good as well as put usable power to the ground.

I think those 17's Look great. I plan on going with 17's as well. And that Bird with the 26's is a disgrace.

Nods, 17s for tracting and running it. 18 looks nice, but if you lower it some with 17s on it.. you can still get that full wheel well look.

17s are the best size. These people are used to 20's or something. Our cars came with 15 and 16 rims and 17. 17 is very good. 18 your really increasing your unsprung weight. and always remember need some better shocks for that extra weight.

Big wheels most of the time are worthless. IHMO

18s are the way to go. 17s aren't bad, and generally look the same as 18s. No matter what you want your wheel wells filled, so regardless of what size you get, they will look like crap if you don't fill that wheel well.

Also, the guy asking about staggered look (17 in front, 18 back)--Don't do it. Vettes do this because their wheel wells are made for it. F-bodies look best when you have the same wheel diameter front and back.

I'm not a big fan of 18's or bigger.

I'll stick with my 17's.

I think 15's look good too.

I love my 17's, I'd rather have a little more sidewall than a little more rim...

17's on a F-body
18's on a Y-body

Why not just save up for 15" Bogarts? If you can't afford it do 15" Weld Prostars or 15" Centerline Convo Pros? That way you can run a meatier tire

I'd love a set of 15's for the track, and a set of 18's for street meat, perfect combo

Everybody loves my 17's on mine but I'm the only guy in town with aftermarket wheels on an Fbody. Everybody knows my car because of the wheels.
