Default prostar wheel spacer question

i have some 15x10x7.5bs pro stars im trying to get fitted up on my car, i've ground down one side using a 5/16" mr.gasket universal spacer...but before i drive with them on the car or go to the track i'm going to get some solid billet/hub centric spacers made. So i was going to call up and order the 5/16..but im thinking why not 3/8 and give myself a little extra clearance? any down falls to this? i'll be running 3.25" arp studs in the back. Thanks all!
