RS on ZR1s!!
I got some wheels and tires for the car. They are 17x9.5 ZR1s with 275/40ZR17 BFG g-Force Sports.
Pics with the old tires that came with the wheels...
and a shot of the center caps I had made for them (in case you noticed the SS centers right next the RS emblems)
They are a 3 layer vinyl decal. What do you guys think?

oh and your camaro is like the definition of a third gen camaro, it looks as if it just rolled out of the dealership. The stripes flow perfectly onto your hood scopp and I like how they don't go past the back light, i sometimes hate racing stripes that drop to the ground. very very nice

Thanks guys. The cars not really that nice though. Just photogenic. But, I did put alot of thought into it when I was planning out the color scheme. I used parts from different model years to makes sure that only black and white were on it, with some silver trim (wheels, emblems, the CAMARO on the grille)
You on TGO? What do your Third Gens look like?
I plan to upgrade the engine and drivetrain when I'm out of college...but not with a LS1. I want to build a LQ9 stroked to 408, cam it, and run the L92 heads and intake.

Thanks.
I'm running a 4th gen rear, so I don't need rear spacers. But, I have 2" Skulte spacers on the front (and would need them rear with a 3rd gen rear).

I can show you a pic of my '88 project. It's a long time project though. It's on hold cause alot is going on right now. But anyway heres a pic of it and its completed front chassis. I don't have a pic of the completed rearend or my other blue '90 model RS.

Thanks, hopefully I'll be able to get back to work on it one day. I want to keep the stock paint scheme but get the same hood you have. My other camaro had that hood for a while and I loved it.

Yes, 2" spacers work with 17x9s with a 56mm back spacing. You'll have to run them front and rear, though.
That should look good. I love the SS hoods on a 3rd gen. I knew when I saw it on a all black 91-92 Z28 I had to have it.

It's fine. Everyone has to learn. I'm not completely sure on the 17x11s, but I think that you can run them with either a 4th gen rear or 2" spacers on the 3rd gen rear.
Here are a few shots of the clearances I have:
Man...I need to clean up under there.
