Snypers, definitely. BTW, can those x9's be widened out to an 11" rim and fit properly on a 4th gen????

Jeep_junkie, verrrry nice hardtop lt1, makes me miss my white TA.

The Snypers look better and are a lot more uncommon.

I'm not a huge fan of the Snypers Josh, even though they are alot more rare. But lets face it, other than F-body enthusiasts, who else would even know the Z06s aren't "aftermarket wheels?"

Aren't charcoal Z06s similiar to the Argent Z06s you took off the car when you bought it?

Same thing basically, this was before I swapped for the polished 18s. What was killing me on the Argent 17s was the whole wheel being that color. I think it needs a polished lip to break it up and not make it look flat after shooting the last car I shot. Now the option stands to have the 18s painted charcoal metallic but leave the lip polished but realistically I think I'm just going to sell these 18s and pick up some 18" C6 Z06 wheels in the hyper silver dark finish. I think the lines of the C6Z wheel match the LT1 lines more whereas the C5Z wheels look good on the 98+ cars.

Haha...you're about like me with trading wheels! Just make sure to keep those CCWs on your GTO. I also agree that when a wheel isn't chrome or silver, it definetely needs a contrasting lip.

Oh for sure. I actually think I'm going to try to score some wheels like what were on my old Trans Am, Ruff 278s, except in the hyper dark centers with polished lips instead of black/polished.

Slow the train down. Found a killer deal on some 18x9.5 Argent Z06 Motorsports with a polished lip. That has some serious benefits over the Ruffs simply because this is my daily and allows me to rotate, not to mention the clearcoat which is easier to keep up with than the lip on the Ruffs. I'd love to have them but they're just not as practical, and I'll leave the serious looking good to the GTO, but these should look really nice with the polished lip and "rivets" along with the the lugs. It'll add in just the right amount of flare and the right size that was wrong with the 17" Argent Z06s that were on the car when I bought it.
