There's just something sexy about seeing a car with fat drag wheels and tires that don't match the front. Kinda like that girl at the bar who you know looks trashy but you still think she's hot.

Looks good. I thought LT1s had less grinding required? I know my rear calipers are almost gone.

ya, for sure lot less grinding. but i still had to grind till the cooling fin's were off and then some (still more than i expected). took just enough material to clear the caliper.

BTW: for everyone that wants to do this, dont be afraid to pound the hell out of the inner fender, cause it rubs a lot. infact that tire wont move with out pounding the hell out of it lol

cutting the bump stop completely off and that area above the bump stop is important too. its a lot of work either for the LS1 guys or LT1's

im running stock stud's, and no spacer. after i get the fronts fitted, i plan to run 7713 ARP studs, 12mm X 1.5, 3.25 all the way around.

stock stud's have enough tread to tighten the wheel saftely, but im sure they wont last, and there a no go at the track.

tell that to my buddy who lost 3 of the front studs on his skinny while driving on a pothole free road and we almost shot off a bridge if he couldn't stop in time. welds shouldn't be used on stock studs ever.

I always feel these 325/50/15 threads are taunting me.

correct, cause the rim centers on the lug stud and theres lots of tention on the stock stud. high chance for it to snap while cruzing.

Use paint to help you grind caliper down. spray some paint fit the wheel and grind where it rubs, repeat it till it clears. BTW: youll have to torque the lug nuts down each time to get the best results.

Front prostar or draglite are 15X3.5 and 1.75 backspacing. The tires i use MT 26.00 X 7.50 - 15's

this is the link to summit for the rim and tire.
