Default Will OE 18X10.5 C5 Wheels fit my 98 Z28?

My cousin has offered me a set of his OE C5 wheels. He said they're 18X10.5 in the rear. I'm wondering if they'll fit my 98 Z28. BFH mod? Spacer? Any help is appreciated.

If they have 285s on them then you might have a little rubbing during hard cornering

Those wheels will have a large offset at about 80mm. Stock for 4th. gens. are 50mm!! You will need some kind of spacer of some sort!! Sorry>

I run the same wheel in the rear with 295/35/18's. I believe they have a 65mm positive offset. I ran them with no spacers and they didn't rub, but were tucked in too far, so I added a 5/16" spacer.

My 18X10.5 zo6's with 53mm offsets fit perfect with 295/35/18's. I had to do no BFH'ing at all. My car is lowered with a pro-kit and I have a adjustable panhard bar.

A friend of mine had to do some beating to get his to fit with 295s, so he might be right

They don't need cut and you don't need spacers.
Look at the link below and you'll see where he hammered to fit 315s. So you want to massage the same area

There are some good pictures here also. He also grinded off some of the bumpstop which you shouldn't have to do

I just installed some C5 Z06 wheels on my '99 Z28 and they would not fit without a spacer. They are factory wheels and they have 295/35's on them. They rubbed the bump stop on the inside .

People shouldn't post bogus info when they have no idea of what they're talking about. The offset is 58 front, 65 rear.

Thats because they are Z06 wheels and are wider than a std. C5 Z06 is 54 front and 58 rear offset.
