Looks nice, I'd rather have a set of wheels that noone has then a set of Y2Ks that everyone and their neighbor has. You made a good choice, I like them how they are, just lower the car and then your done.

Personally I kind of like them. They remind me of the early firehawk wheels. Oh and put some proper tires on those things.

Don't paint, just lower it and hope for the best.

Why does your car sit lower on the passenger side?
Its the natural stance for f-bodies, otherwise its kuz the tires on the right side were really flat compared to the left side.....

IMHO- looks terrible.

Get those Y2ks back on there, I really liked those. Your car looks like it wants to be a volkswagen with lipper type tires and those gawdy almost all solid spoke wheels.

They just need more sidewall/less wheelgap and I think they'll look fine.

And for the record, I haven't had a problem with my Sumitomos. And I'm quite pleased about the hundreds of dollars I saved.

HEY why did you steel Magnum PI's wheels? Dont those belong on the 308 Ferrari?? Well if they dont, they would look better on those than on your car..

not a fan...but it would help to lower it, paint the centers, and get some tires on it.

Why would you want Y2K's? Don't you want to make your car unique? If he still had the Y2K's his car wouldn't be unique, it'd look like all the other GM cars that want to be a corvette

Nice Choice, Don't listen to all the haters, they're just mad their cars are all the same.

I think you should paint the centers black. It will really accentuate the custom put-together-ness of the wheels and have a euro type lip on the wheel. Plus black wheels on polo green(?) seems to fit together well.

actually they are a similar design, but.... those arent three peice rims = no rivtes.... and the center caps are diff....

these rims are actually based off the Ferrari F50 rims from the early nineties, check out some pics and you will see, I got a email back from momo and they said these rims sold for 900$ a peice back in 1992, they were featured on some old porsches, are based off the F50 rim, and that they were not mass-produced.....

so im done with that bolt them up go for a drive to get air in the tires....

Grinding noise... yeah :help: .... you betcha, fronts are grinding, there is a small nub on the front spindles that are grinding, So i go at it with a mini saw and some sand paper.... got it good enough so that it doesnt grind....

so here are some pics while parked, the tires are low on air, some look almost flat.

Not my cup, but they look clean

While I am not really a fan of these rims (regardless of their production numbers, etc.) I do applaud you for taking a new route with your car: Y2Ks are over-played SO get your ride lowered first! Then debate the idea of painting the centers; and I would go black for the centers.
