speedlines just dont look right on anything but a 4th gen T/A. But clean car man, i'm sure you wont have a problem finding something that fits with the car better.

Figured I would ***** out my car. 17in Cragar SS. Im thinking of ditching these and going with the speedlines. And yes, I know the car needs to be lowered.

Those speedlines look really good on the car. I'd move the front in 1/2 inch (if you can) and try to find some taller rubber. Maybe a 50 or 60 series tire with raised white lettering.

It works on those wheels because of the dish but on a non lowered 2nd gen, rubber band tires look very out of place. The way fat rubber on 4th gens looks (except for slicks of course)

Steves orange 1st gen also looked sharp with low pro, but again it was the wheels+drop that pulled it off

This is just test fitting for now, I wanted to stay with factory size rubber so if it didn't look good or work I would have no problem getting rid of the new drag radials and new front rubber. The car is by no means done, and will prob lower the car a little if everything will clear....The speedlines will go with the car a little better once it has a few more 4th gen parts....

Yeah the wheel itself is cool but once its dropped a bit (or even when the suspension settles down) it'll look sweet. You gonna do interior parts too or whatcha got up your sleve there....
