Default Waterspots

For the last couple of weeks in my area it has been raining and raining and raining. So today I took the opportunity to wash my car cause it was sunny outside. Before I came home I decided to give the mother's powerball a shot and polish my wheels using that method. Well after using the powerball and a little bit of hand action I'm stuck with waterspots that seem to never want to come off. This is really frustrating me. From a far they look great but up close it is horrible. To make it worse I hit a curb after all my hard work. Any solutions?

When you did the "hand action". DId you use a MF towel? I'd try it again. maybe with more pressure. When I'd get back water spots on my tt2s i'd just hand do it with mothers billet polish,MF towels, and tiny circles.

goodluck.

Find a two step polishing system with something more abrasive to get the water spots out, and lightly wet the area by rubbing some vinegar water into it first. And lastly, learn how to drive because curbs dont jump out of nowhere.

The way I polished my wheels last week was by using Neverdull to get any stains and spots out then I used the Powerball and the more expensive Mothers Billet polish. I also tried using several buff wheels with tripoli, rouge, and some polish from Lowes and the Mothers and Powerball was the only thing I could get to work right.

Good luck. It's a pain in the *** to do but it is worth it once your done.

What polished and methods did you use? If I'm fully polishing the entire wheels and barrels with a Powerball/hand two-step combo it takes about 1-1.5 hours per wheel doing it right. Once you get them fully polished and looking good you can hand maintain them but the trick with polished wheels is to stay on top of them so you dont have to do a full blown polish job but a few times a year.

I tried lighty spraying water and vinegar on them and rubbin it in. Next I tried using the mothers powerball with billet polish, and after that I hand polished them but they still cam off. I spent 2 hours out there. I didn't stay any longer because it is a little demoralizing but i'm not giving up because I hate the way they are looking.

What billet polish? The polish you're using is the key in getting them to come clean.

It is the Mother's polish that says billet around the label right?
