You keep saying you do not care about rain, and you want to hook with the converter, get MT. as far as you nitto choice of the 555r,,, this is bad, thats not the tires you want that is for road racing, like you would put 4 of them on to auto cross. the nitto 555 drags radials is what you want if you are going with a nitto.

I am going to be driving like 95% on the street at least, so I would like them to have a decent tread life to them if that's possible. I also don't want to break anything like my rear end, and I have full bolt-ons and a tune, so it feels pretty powerful now (I can't use first anywhere anymore ). What would you recommend for a car like mine who wants to be able stick pretty well on the street, and every once in a while the track, but also get decent tread life out of them and not break anything? I just want to be able to use first again . haha

When you find a tire that does all those, let me know please.

Those really are unrealistic expectations.

I had Nittos on my old Camaro. They were "decent at best" at the track after a long burnout, and didn't wear out really fast, along with being cheap. I personally don't like them though because they run slightly narrower than most tires of the same size and looked kind of dumb on my car. My vote goes for BFG's. They're a little more expensive, but they ******* HOOK. Tread life is okay, it's hard for me to tell though because I barely drive my car. Yeah, you'll be replacing these a little more often, and they'll run you a few more bucks, but when you want your car to squat and go without doing a smokeshow, you'll be happy you got them.

Nittos all the way, micks wear fast, so do bfgs(they did for me anyway). My car was never a "daily driver" but when it was out it was on nittos.
