anyone had any rubbing issues
You may or may not need an adjustable pan hard bar to center the rearend. My car did not require it.
It is well worth the trouble. I am running the Sumitomos and I am lowered about 1.5". The lips on my fenders have not needed to be rolled.
There is always a risk of rubbing with 11" wide wheels. The issue comes more apparent with wider tires, such as BFG's of GS-D3's. The tire may rub on the inner wheel well, which is easily fixed with the BFH mod. The wheels and tires CANNOT be installed with the rear axle hanging it must be supported. Many will tell you to mod the bump stop, which is TOTALLY unnecessary. If you are lowered the wheel well lip may need to be rolled. And an adjustable panhard is your freind.
oh and i talked to the people at Tomz Wheels and their tech guys are saying the TTII's only come in polished aluminum but i thought they also came in chrome which is what i want. so if that is true then if i want chrome ill have to get the torque thrust m's
second, if you do have a WS6 as states in your name, then you want a 36mm offset, which is much better for pontiacs. we have a wider wheel area, and with a 36 offset, you wont have to worry about the bumpstop or rubbing. if not, then either grind the bumpstop, or just jack the car up from the rear, not the body rib like usual. id use a roller before just beating your lip. you have to have some class.....at least use a roller to start with, then use a hammer to fine tune some high areas.
if you dont lower the car, you wont need an adj. PHB or anything. just put the wheels on, check for rubs, and enjoy.
