Default Spare tire as a skinny?

Well i recently took off my power sterring(trying every bit to squeez hp (dont flame!) and well i had two spares laying around from this ta and my old one...

so i decided to throw those on till i could find a good deal on some real skinnies, this is going to be a drag car, so only taking it to the track and back home...should i have any worries about running these?

i mean there just like skinnies and the rims are ment to hold the car... i couldnt see why not other than its really stupid looking lol

oh btw these 135/16s are a lot easier to turn then the stock 275's lol

Well, they are built as a 'spare' tire and have numerous warnings about using them at high speeds. Who knows, they'd probably work, but I would purchase the proper equipment if you are going to be racing. The wall is a little unforgiving most say.

please dont those wheels are not constructed well enough to sustain high speeds. It is not just the tire you have to worry about.

The 1988 Ford Turbocoupe or whatever had a lightweight AL spare that looked like aftermarket and it didn't have any warnings on them and people used to use them at the strip.
