I have seen black ZR1's on ebay. Not sure if they have the polished lip.

I bought black 17" ZR1's off ebay, they were fine. They are called GrandSport wheels. All 96 GrandSport corvettes came with 17" black ZR1's. Mine have the edge polished, those don't look so great.

18" ZR1's look terrible in my opinion.

I would go with these, they are the same as mine, only 9.5 wide on all four. You can also get the 11.0 in the rear like I did for slightly more. I was happy with the way my car turned out. Check the pics at my fquick.

Personally... I don't like the chrome lip. Why have a chrome lip when nothing else on the car is chrome? Whatever floats your boat, but I dont get it. Also... I seen the 18" ZR1s on a car and thought they were awesome. Has anyone bought from this seller?

The polished lip defines the edge of the wheel so it doesn't look like you are riding on steelies. If it is all black it just blends into the tire and looks like sh't in my opinion. Plus the the lip isn't f'n chrome... it just cnc'd aluminum with clear on it.

I have the polished lip because they are replica grandsport wheels, I wanted a copy of the real GM A-mold, so I got the polished lip. Not to mention, good luck on getting tires off and on a rim with the lip painted without removing the paint on the lip.

Whoa there... I wasn't trashing your car. I knew you were trying to replicate a GS, and I think your car looks pretty awesome. However, no 4th Gen Camaro ever came with black wheels period, so there's nothing GM to replicate in my case. And yes, I was aware that the lip is not chrome, as you can see, I own a set. That clear coat has been peeling off since about the 3rd week I've had my Z06s. Chrome is just an easy way to say it.

Your FQuick is awesome, I love the C4's when they're done right. Only reason I'm driving mine instead is because the 96 Vette I was looking at was an auto.

The ZR1 does not come in an 18" wheel. Please check our ebay store for a large assortment of the wheels we carry, you can also check our website at wwwtomzwheels.com however it is not yet complete.
Thanks

yeah they do Tom, there is a company that makes them in 18". usually you can only find them on Ebay. Not sure what company makes them though.

18"s look good but you need at least 13" brakes (C5 conversion or another company thats makes larger brakes) so they dont look out of place.. like ricers and thier 10" brakes with big wheels..
