Nitto 555r I want to know what your opinion on them is. I need to buy two new tires and was thinking of picking some up. I have a stock Z28 and was wondering how wide to go. I heard they run a little narrow so for my 245s I should get somthing a little wider like 255 or 275. How wide can I go safely? Thanks guys!

Nitto ONLY makes the 16" drag radial in 245/50 16, and YES it is exceptionally NARROW! (To the point that you will really notice it if you have "wide" tires on the front, like even the stock GSCs.)
The M/T DRs in 255/50 16 are fairly wide, on the other hand, but are not suggested for an every day, daily driven tire (unless you're NEVER in the rain, and are wealthy enough to be replacing them every 2000 miles or so!!
