Default swaying

ok guys im not exactly sure if this is a tire or suspension problem but i lowered my car by cuting the springs,(i know its the cheap way but i know at least five guys who have done it this way and it rides fine) and i put 17x11 zr1s on the car at the same time. for tires i got 285/35/17 nittos NT555s now my problem is when im on the highway it feels like the car is swaying back and forth kinda like when you spin a quarter and it slows down and it spining on its side!?!?! so could it be shity tires or like mabey to small for the 11's, would a sway bar help?

i dont think so cause they fit pretty good, i still got curb protection and when i got them they had 285s on them. i plan on geting the 315s but i would rather fix the swaying problem first, if its not the tires of course

think youd be better off in sus. section....

im a friend...the cars lowered about 1 3/4 inched all the way around...

not only have i lowered my cars this way both of them but neither of them really do it...exspecially not my racecar....it has 16's
my daily does it sometimes and it also has 17 on it,(think 17 dont absorb as much)

but i wonder if its because the panhard isnt level anymore since its lowered (like you need a panhard relocation to drop the body side of it)

if you go over a bump mostly at higher speeds the back end feels to get loose on you. it rocks side to side 2-3 times

How did you cut the springs?

Is everthing put back on? Sway bar? Panhard?

Tires inflated properly?

285's are OK on 11" wheels . . .

To me sounds like something didn't get put back on.

when i did the hose mod somehow my panhard rod came loose and the car didnt feel too stable, after i found out that was the problem just tightened it up and its been fine ever since. id recommend buying a new adjustable one since the car is lowered over an 1"

PANHARD ROD is my guess. When this bar is loose the rear will feel like it is about to come around you at any time. It gets worse at higher speeds. Check that and I bet you will find one side is slightly loose. It doesnt think much play to get a BAD swaying feel from that.
