so I was lookin at some tires and a guy told me that nexen n3000's perform on the same level as bfg gforce sports and nitto 555's(which are the tires im deciding between right now)
but my question is do the these nexens really perform at the same level? Because they are a lot cheaper and im not the type that will spend and extra 200 just to have the name brand on my car
thanks for the help

I have the nexen n3000's on my evolution. for the price they are great and help me out at autocross but are still short of what the bfg's can do. Both the 555's and bfg's are great tires but even though the N3000's are a lot cheaper, I would just spend the money to get the bfg's. Tires are one of the most important modifications and should be done right. You won't be disappointed if your go with the bfg's

So far, I have yet to see an inexpensive tire perform at the level of a more expensive tire. I've seen it proven time and time again in Motor Trend and Car and Driver in their tire shootouts. I will say my Riken Raptors hook pretty good, but then again, I have 3.42's and only 330 rwhp.
