Default Anyone ruined their LSD because thy drove on the spare?

just wonder as the spare itself says that LSD can be harmed when the spare is not the same height.

I've had to drive on my spare on occasion, and no harm done. I've got a stock suspension, though. Aside from that, maybe I'm just too tired, but I can only think of 1 thing that LSD is, and I know you can't hurt it by driving with a spare.

LSD- Limited slip differential. The spare says that it is not reccomended going over 45 using the spare as it would harm the differential due to the difference in size of tires.

I would just move some tires around so your drive wheels have both the same sized tires. I did that once with my old Escort that had a flat front tire. I put the spare on the rear and moved the good, normal sized, tire up front.

LSD...yes, that makes sense.

I doubt you'd have too much of a problem. The longest I've had the spare on was about 1.5 days, and I kept it below 60, and accelerated cautiously. How long do you plan on running a donut?

i drove it home on a donut for 8 miles at 10-15 mph, it gave me a reason to buy tires for the brand new rims sitting in my garage the past 3 years.

take a front wheel off, put the donut on the front, then remove the flat in the rear, and put the front tire in it's place.

that's how it should be done with a LSD.
