Just ordered....HRE 545's!!!

Hmmm...I will call the place where I bought them ( they are HRE specialists ), and ask them about whether I should have the clear on the wheels or not.

Im pretty sure that if HRE is advertising the "clearcoat" option, as something of importance and recommended....then it probably is. After all...I wouldnt want to have those 545's mounted and then be driving home and all the sudden....1000's of pebbles fall off the back of a construction truck...and damage the rims. I would rather have that clear on there for upgraded protection.

uhh....rims can be very stressful.

Clear coat isn't going to add much protection if any...Either way, if they do get damaged, it won't be too bad to repair and clear them again.
