Default Quick Tire Help....

I just bought some rims that are 18x9.5 ( front ) and 18x10.5 ( rear ).

What are the best tires to wrap them in? I have heard alot of good things about the BFG KDW, Nitto 555 and Michelin PS2.

Anyone have any experience with brands like Pirelli? or some other brand?
I remember hearing about a Pirelli P-Zero tire that was supposed to be good...?

If all of you with tire experience would be kind enough to put the major tire brands I listed in rank, from best to worst...that would be great. I searched for such a rank, and didnt find one.

Thanks in advance.

This is pretty much a loaded question. What are you looking for: dry performance, wet performance, drag strip, auto-x etc...

I currenty have the BFG KDW-NT and love them. They are 10 fold better than the stock goodyears.

Im looking for a good dry/wet tire that can be used for auto-x, and has a nice looking sidewall ( not too busy ) something clean.

I only drive in the rain about 20% of the time, the other 80% is dry weather and auto-x.

thanks.

----I had BFG KDW on my 98 TA and they were very good, but looking for something with a nicer looking sidewall...

I don't like Nitto tires . . .

I had Michelin PS, and I was happy with them, but pricey.

People rave about the BFG KDW2's.

I have Kuhmo Ecsta MX's and am dissappointed with them.

yeah, it seems like the KDW are the tire of choice.....not too expensive, not too cheap.

I might just go with them.

Anyone ever have Pirelli P-Zero's?

Don't bother with the P-Zero's. They aren't what they used to be.

KDW is a good tire and a step up is the KD, PS2, or the GS-D3

The KD isn't that great in the rain though.
