that reason...gears, the 4.10's/4.11's with some power are going to be to short of a gear even on 28's....especially with an auto.

What would the disadvantage/advantages be between using a 28" tire with a steeper gear like a 4.44 over using a 26inch tire with a 4.10 gear. They would both be at about 127 at 6800rpms. I would assume the taller tire would have more side wall and imo look better but would have more rotating weight

Here are mine on a street setup 295/45/17 MT ET Radials. Car sits 27" at the top of the fender and all i had to do was roll the fender to make them clear with no problem. Imagine the drivers side sitting about 1" lower, these are shot without me in it and the coilovers are a bit sensative lol
