Are you saying the tires are dead hooking with 700 rwhp? Thats an extremely impressive tire. Is this on a fully prepped track or a street night at the track with no track prep? I have seen 600rwhp cars blitz the E/T street bias ply tire pretty good at the track(6 speed cars no track prep)...

well my dyno is on a dynopack so you can prolly take off what 30 from my numbers. everyone wants to argue that, but thats another topic. the track is infineon raceway. so usually always prepped good. let me find my vids and i can explain the launch

i realized 1st gear was no good for doing my burn outs. after i missed a shift i was babying the car to make sure it was ok. but you can see the last two runs i almost floored if off the line and somewhat floored it down the track. with these sticky tires in the rear its not good to run 275/40/17's up front and no sway bar on a windy *** day!!!!!
the last run i floored it @ 4500 and popped the clutch, still a slight bog so next time i go ima try and launch closer to 5000 btw tire psi was at 24? forgot already

my suspension is not setup for drag btw. i have gc coilovers 600/150 springs rates with bilstein shocks

I`m not calling BS. I`m just looking to gather as much info as I can before I drop 5hundy on a set of drag radials. Car looks like its hooking good for you ... Its that I am just over the 500rwhp and I waste the the BFG 315 drag radials at the track on a street night..

i got them from mccormack racing, i dont want to post a price as i dont know what they normally sell them for.
mike: all i can say is they hook. if you look, mightymouse uses these same tires in 315-35-17 and is pulling 9's.... you make the call

Do you think this tire could be squeezed onto a 10in rim?? Or would i need a wider rim. Im running 295 rite now, and it was a fairly tight fit

A friend of mine has a vette with a Paxton blower @ 12PSI and bolt on's. He has cut a 1.58 60' on these tires with no suspension mods at all.

funny how for traction it's rated "B"

Maybe someone used the wrong plates for the molds

with a 10" wheel i think it would be too much of a bubble effect on the sidewall, physically fit? yes it would....correct?

Keep in mind that tread ratings are only good within a single manufacturer's line of tires.

Treadwear ratings are NOT an industry wide standard!

200 on a Toyo is not a 200 on a Goodyear or MT. FYI.

you could probably get it to fit. i got the 315's to fit my stock 9.5" wheels (even though they're 17's) and even though i don't condone it, theyre not too wobbly on the street.

Would help it break alot easier!! i broke mine with 390 on street tires. 10 bolts are a ticking time bomb Some have good luck with em, and most dont.

SVC, I'm in the bay area now too. I'd love to take a look at these in person once they're all mounted up.
