I was just looking at the Scorpions and I noticed the VERY high reviews that owners gave to the tire. The tread pattern also looks pretty good too.
How were the revies on the Kumhos?
I plan to get some new tires within the next 6 months, most definitely the Scorpions. I have always run pirellis (P700Z's) on my turbo honda and they perform beautifully, on/off the track, in all weather conditions, etc.

I have had Kumhos before. They are cheap for a reason. Little traction when dry, no traction when wet. They dont balance well either.

i have read all the reveiws on the tire rack for both of these and they are very simular.the kumhos run about 20$ cheaper a tire.for that price i could buy a set of 5 and have a spare for the same price as 4 scorpions.but as with most things you get what you pay for.wish i had input from someone who has had both

I just put some kumho tire on and I like them. My car is a daily driver but I like to drive pretty hard sometimes. I know that I have to apply more power to the rear to get them to chirp. But all I can compare them to is the factory nail magnets call eagle F1. They looked alot wider before I bought them. 275/45 17"

I put the kumho's on my ss over the winter no traction at first, but after a little break in and warmer weather they hook really well. seems like the hotter the pavement the better they hook up. I don't think you will be disappointed with them.
