Help!!!!!!wheels Want Fit

I have a 1995 trans am ws6 and i am having a problem with wheels fitting on the back of my car.i have a set of 2002 trans am ws6 wheels and a set of 1999 trans am wheels and both do not fit on the back of my car and they fit fine on the front so if anyone has had this problem please let me know.thanks

If I remember right the wheels have to be ground slightly to fit on the rear. I sold my stock wheels a few years ago to someone with an early 4th gen and they had the same problem. Can't remember what exactly needed to be done, but its not that big a deal to make them fit. I will try to find out what they did.

I don't think it's the wheels that need to be ground, I think it was the brake calipers.

on the earlier 4th gen cars the center of the axles appears to be a little bigger. you just have to grind the center of the axle a little bit to get the center of the wheel to slide over it

LT1 cars the hubcentric ring on the axles is like .05mm smalled then LS1 cars. Just grind a little off the rim di.

grind off the small ridge on the inside of the wheel centers, NOT the axle.

the LT1 rear axle hubs centers are larger than the corvette and LS1 f-bodies. just grind the center out enough to get the wheel to fit over the hub. been there, done it more than once.
