Question Rivets: Are the a look or real?

Is this the latest fad or are the rivets/allen/screws really holding wheels together? IMO there's very few wheels that look good with rivets. I've seen so many that would look amazing without.

Eh ah well.

Mine are real bolts holding together the rims, most are just for looks.... if they dont cost more then 300$ a rim, then i guarantee you they are just for looks....

mine are momo R3's and they were made in the early 90s, they came in silver with a polished lip... 17x10.5 all around.... parden my 275's that are mount, 315's on the rear real soon....

they are now black with polished lip... not everyone likes them...

my iForged Aero's are a real 3 piece and are bolted together.....therefore the bolt heads you see are not there for looks but to hold the rim together.

Ya it's almost like the wheels that really use them are the ones that look good. Those are nice vendetta as are Fikse's

I personally think any wheel with rivets, bolt heads, etc looks like ***. I like clean rim wheels.

Personally, I will never own wheels with rivets cuz they're a major pain in the *** to clean in between all them damn rivets! My brother has a set with rivets and he regrets it! Although there are really nice looking wheels with rivets out there! I'll give you that!
